Field bus Interface Cards - standard computer form-factors. Synergetic supports and supplies a line of interface cards designed by Synergetic technology partner, Hilscher. This line includes PC/ISA, PCI, PCMCIA, and PC/104 FieldBus Master and Slave cards for Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, SDS, InterBus, ModBus+, CANopen, and ASi.
Field bus Interface Cards - custom/OEM form factors. For integrators and manufacturers of systems requiring turn-key fieldbus connectivity, Synergetic supports and supplies a line of OEM modules, known as COM and AnyBusŪ modules designed by Synergetic technology partners, Hilscher and HMS. This line includes FieldBus Master and Slave cards for Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, SDS, InterBus, ModBus+, CANopen, LON and ControlNet. These boards act as daughter cards to an OEM’s motherboard and have a standard interface between the two boards. The modules are the size of a credit card.
This allows complete design flexibility. Just like Synergetic’s universal software drivers, these OEM modules give the machine builder the flexibility of swapping one board with another (i.e. substituting one FieldBus with another) without any other design changes.
